A Pewter Welsh Dragon Pocket Watch Stand. Designed to be placed on either a bedside, desk or any flat surface. This ideal accessory will hold any Pocket Watch. In using this item it will help prevent the watch from becoming scratched or damaged and even turn the watch from being an ideal accessory into a beautiful bedside or office table clock. In heraldry a dragon varies greatly in especially in the shape of its ears, however the wings are those of a bat. The tongue and the tail can often be barbed and breathes out fire, it is also a symbol of power, wisdom and the one who has overcome an adversary. The poets Aneirin and Taliesin use the Welsh word for dragon � �draig� in the sense of a warrior of leader. This use is reflected in the Arthurian Legends where the British chiefs in times of extreme danger were conferred in the title � �Pendragon� or headed-dragon, investing them with supreme power, such as that granted to Uther Pendragon, King Arthur�s father.

Delivery

Under normal circumstances all orders received by 4pm (Monday to Friday) will be dispatched within 24 hours assuming the stock is available. In the case of stock not being available we will contact you to discuss alternative arrangements.

Shipped packages to mainland UK destinations should arrive between one to two working days from despatch. Please note that any special instructions attached to any orders must relate to the products only and are not instructions left for the postman.

All packages to the mainland UK are charged at a flat rate of £4.50 and are shipped with DHLs next day tracked delivery service. If the package is small enough to fit in a letterbox, it may be posted via Royal Mail.
